Greetings!

We apologize for the lack of updates in the last year, but we try to reserve these messages for special occassions. We have some very exciting news to share with all of you:

  • After years of making weird music to a small but loyal fanbase, Ego Plum emerges from the underground and shoots directly to the top! Coming this fall to NICKELODEON! It's the cute & creepy, the bleak & hilarious, the strange & absurd animated series: MAKING FIENDS! Featuring all new, original music by EGO PLUM! Check out EbolaMusic.com for additional info on this MAJOR announcement!

  • EBOLA MUSIC RADIO is a one-hour program broadcasting every Wednesday morning and running continuously throughout the week, exclusively on EbolaMusic.com. The show will be (mostly) hosted by Ego Plum and will feature strange & unclassifiable music from the farthest reaches of the globe! Ebola Music Radio will also feature music from the ever-expanding Ebola Music catalog, as well as unreleased music, live sessions, and outtakes. Future programs will feature guest hosts, exclusive interviews, and other surprises. Be sure to check back every week as these shows will not be archived and will only run for one week. New show every Wednesday morning at 9:00am (Pacific Standard Time) streaming exclusively at EbolaMusic.com.

  • THE DOMESTICATION OF ANIMALS is the latest group to join the Ebola Music family. The trio translate the charming natter and stutter of nervous speech into high-energy fractured glitch rock. Their songs have an internal logic of excessive, almost proggy proportions, but without the cold intellect that usually comes with that. CitizenLA describes TDoA frontman, Mooey Moobow as, "...a lone sound/speech scientist working on awkward musical ideas that set a new standard for stuttering stamina." Pick up their debut digital release from the Ebola Music Shop now!

  • THE YEAR OF THE RAT. Thank you to all of you you have bought, stolen, or listened to the debut album from Ego Plum & the Ebola Music Orchestra, "THE RAT KING." It's been a year since the official release and we want to thank all the fans and all the radio stations that have played it. In particular, a big thank you to INDIE 103.1 and Jonesy`s Jukebox with Steve Jones for featuring the track, "Something to Hide" on their "Pants or Mustard" segment. Since the release, 8 stations charted the record in the top thirty, 3 stations in the top ten, and 171 stations added the record to their rotation. If you do not have the RAT KING, Pick up the digital release from the Ebola Music Shop now!

  • EBOLA MUSIC RECORDS LAUNCHED! After years of neglect, the Ebola Music site has been revamped and relaunched as a fully functioning record label and secure online digital store. The site features all new artists, video content, sound samples, bios, a radio broadcast, and regularly updated news & show announcements. Please check back often! After years of not doing anything at all, the site will feature NEW RELEASES every month for the rest of 2006 by new artists, including new music from Ego Plum.

Thank you for reading. We appreciate your support over the years and your help in making all these exciting developments possible.
