Gesundheit!

This week on EBOLA MUSIC RADIO we are proud to broadcast an exclusive interview with director Richard Elfman, who is currently promoting the re-release of his cult classic, FORBIDDEN ZONE, as he originally intended it: IN COLOR. In this candid telephone conversation between Ego Plum and Richard Elfman, Richard talks to Ego about the musical & visual inspirations behind the film, its controversial history (complete with threats of arson against theaters), the colorization process, and most surprising, Mr. Elfman reveals the synopsis to FORBIDDEN ZONE 2: THE FORBIDDEN GALAXY!

The show also features music from the film, as well unreleased tracks from the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, Josephine Baker, Cab Calloway, and related artists. Be sure to listen to the end of the interview where you can hear
Ego Plum try and muscle his way into writing music for the sequel!

For those of you in Los Angeles, you can catch the Forbidden Zone in COLOR (with a Dolby 6 Channel Surround Sound mix) at the

Egyptian Theater
6712 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90028
Wednesday, July 30th at 8:00PM

Lastly, we just uncovered in the archives (i.e. the garage) some perfectly-kept, limited-edition prints by Mr. Ego Plum which we are now posting for sale on eBay. "The Prettiest Girl in the World" is based on an anonymous Russian photograph from the early 1900's of a beautiful amputee child ballerina caught in mid pose. The original photograph was transformed into 1-color seriographic prints and accented by hand with water colors (dress colors vary from print to print) and printed on gallery-grade archival paper. All prints are signed & numbered (edition of 15) with hand-deckled edges. (Dimensions: 30 x 30 inches)

Prints were created by Ego Plum at the Fine Arts Serigraph Studio Modern Multiples which has produced work for Shepard Fairey, Banksy, Camille Rose Garcia, and many others.
