show debuted on the Nicktoons Network in October of
2008 and despite limited promotion or fanfare from
the network, fans have made it the highest
rated original program on NickToons! Thank

PLUM'S NEW ALBUM IN PROGRESS
Ego Plum is currently solo recording
and releasing songs online for an (as of yet) untitled
Album In Progress. These are his first
song releases since 2007's critically-acclaimed RAT
KING CD with the EBOLA MUSIC ORCHESTRA.
Album In Progress means the songs are being
put online AS THEY ARE WRITTEN AND RECORDED
(approximately one song every one or two weeks). The
first two songs, "Dance
Cube Dance," and "To
All, To All Children!" have already
been posted as FREE
MP3 DOWNLOADS exclusively on ebolamusic.com
with accompanying
music videos on YouTube.
A departure from the Rat Kings' orchestrated and cinematic
sound, these songs are written in an organic and spontaneous
method and limited to simply drums, bass, guitar and
vocals which are all performed by Mr. Plum. Thematically,
the songs are based on a Soviet-era children's book
by El Lissitzky entitled, ABOUT TWO SQUARES.
It is a story about how two squares, one red, one
black, transform the world.
Check back regularly for the new songs on the website.
The free MP3 downloads will end when the 12 songs
are completed and then the album will be released
as a traditional CD.
